On 15th August 2020 this 74 Independence Day of India PM Mr. Narendra Modi launched National Digital Health Mission Yojana 2020. Under this Scheme the Govt of India will issue Health ID Card for individual for store all his/ her medical records. By this way the Health record of the individuals will be online so that it would be easy to treat that person after knowing his/ her previous health history or issues. Aim of National Health Mission Scheme 2020 Launched on 15 August Independence Day
The primary objective of this National Digital Health Mission Yojana 2020 is to make Digital Health System for the whole country so it would be easy to manage the health data. By doing this government of India would be able to make and to implement new health schemes.
Features in National Digital Health Mission Yojana and Health ID Card 2020
The scheme initially will have 4 features which are given below. 2 more features will also be added in future. Let’s have a look on this-
Health ID Card- Each person of the country will get and Health Identity Card under the National Digital Health Mission Scheme. This health ID will be utilized to store every test reports, disease and diagnosis, and medical reports and their medicines online. You can also link up the Health ID card to your Aadhar Card.

Personal Health Record- This feature will contain information such as your age, blood group, Disease, Allergy, surgery and others. So this would be helpful to the doctor also to understand your health history. Individuals would be able to update it themselves.
Digi Doctor- This section is for Doctors where they can register themselves and each doctor will get their Unique ID. Free Digital Signature facility will also be available in this section.
Health Facility Registration- Hospitals, Clinics, Laboratories and health facility can get connected by this features with the National Digital Health Mission Yojana 2020. Each Indian will get all information of hospitals, clinics etc through this feature on a single platform.
In Future, 2 More Features will be added in National Digital Health Mission Scheme 2020
Tele Medicine- People can contact to any of the doctor registered on this platform for online Tele-consultation.
E- Pharmacy- This feature will give the facility of online medicine purchase.
According to the information National Digital Health Mission 2020 Scheme would be available in web and app formats soon. It is expected that this scheme will help to improve the health sector and its facilities in India.
