Every year huge number of students take admission in private schools of Rajasthan under RTE Admission. It is a free education scheme by the state government for the students of 5 to 7 years. The scheme is launched to provide education to the students who belong to poor families and not able to pay their educational fee. Approximately 1.25 lakh seats are reserved in Rajasthan for RTE Admission in 25000 Private schools of state. On these seats free admissions will be given through the Right to education scheme. Every year more than 2 lakh applications come for admission to these seats in Rajasthan. Last year also around 2.83 lakh children had applied for RTE Rajasthan Admission 2023.
RTE Rajasthan Admission Eligibility Criteria 2023-24
- Students will get admission in class 1 under RTE Admission 2023 Rajasthan.
- Age of the child should be between 5-7 years.
- Apart from this, the child’s birth certificate and documents of original or permanent residence here will have to be attached.
- Children of poor families whose parents’ income is Rs 2.50 lakh per annum or less will get admission under this.
- Whereas the disadvantaged group includes children other than SC, ST category, orphan child, HIV or cancer victims or children of parents affected by these diseases, children of war widows, BPL and disabled children.
